We grow all plant materials, here in our plant greenhouses except foliage (house plants) that we ship in through our plant broker, from Florida. We opened in 1976 with a shop and two greenhouses. Bill Edwards, owner, has a degree in floriculture from Cornell University and continues to learn and improve growing techniques. He is assisted by his greenhouse manager, Shawna Hopson and her reliable and knowledgeable staff.

How to Care for
the Plants in Your House
The most important elements needed for indoor plant health are water, light
and fresh air. Since most plants have dormant and active cycles, their
watering and fertilizing requirements will differ greatly from season to
season. A little research should be done for each of your house plants to
understand their individual needs.
Watering Your House Plants
Most house plants should be
thoroughly soaked as soon as the soil dries
during periods of active growth. However, some plants must never be
allowed to dry out completely. There are no hard and fast rules to watering
plants, because every situation is different because of temperature
variations, humidity, ad soil types. It is better to keep an indoor plant
slightly dry, rather than giving too much water.
More house plants die from too
much water, rather than any other reason!
Never let a house plant sit in water for more than an hour or two.
